Mr. Jacobs is the firm’s Deputy Managing Partner, and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Jacobs’ practice concentrates in the areas of international tax, trusts, corporate and commercial law, with emphasis on asset protection and tax planning on behalf of the firm’s international clients. His practice areas also include licensing, employment agency law, and professional practices.
Mr. Jacobs is on the Boards of numerous business and not-for-profit entities, and represents several French agencies in their U.S. affairs.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Jacobs practiced as a Tax Accountant for Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young) in 1968, and as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York from 1968 to 1969.
