Professional Summary
Daniel Pozin practices extensively in the areas of municipal
law, real estate development, zoning and planning, and environmental
law. Mr. Pozin sits as Village Counsel to the Village of Elmsford,
Westchester County, New York and as Planning Board Attorney in the
Village of Briarcliff Manor, Westchester County, New York. Mr. Pozin has
advised various municipal boards in Elmsford and Briarcliff Manor as
well as in the Village of Pleasantville and the Town of New Castle on a
myriad of municipal law issues. Mr. Pozin has also represented the
interests of numerous private clients seeking approvals for matters
involving real estate development from municipal boards throughout
Westchester, Putnam and Rockland Counties.
Mr. Pozin has extensive experience with various Federal, State and
County regulatory agencies including the U.S. Army Corps. Of Engineers
and Department of Housing and Urban Development, the N.Y.S. Department
of Environmental Conservation, Public Service Commission, Committee on
Open Government and Education Department, the New York City Department
of Environmental Protection, and the Westchester County Planning
Department. Mr. Pozin is the Firm’s resident authority on the Freedom of
Information Law and advises all municipal clients on matters involving
the disclosure of public records
